D.I.D School of Careers — Refund Policy

General Policy
Students who are eligible for a refund will receive their refund back to the original payment method. Refund requests must be submitted in writing by emailing the Admissions Office at info@didschoolofcareers.org. Refunds are calculated based on funds that have been received from the student or any sponsoring facility, agency, or scholarship provider.

Refund Calculations

1. Withdrawal or Termination Before Class Start:
Any student who withdraws or is terminated before the first day of class will receive a refund of all funds paid, minus non-refundable fees and issued materials. These include:
• Application fees
• Books and supplies issued
• Background checks
• Uniforms issued
• TB skin tests
• CPR or First Aid certification
• Credit card or processing fees
• Any other materials or services provided to the student

2. Withdrawal or Termination After Class Start:
Tuition refunds will be prorated up to 50% of the class session (measured in clock hours).
• If a student withdraws before or at 50% of the session, tuition will be refunded on a prorated basis.
• If a student withdraws after the 50% point, no tuition refund will be issued.

3. Non-Refundable Fees:
The application fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from any payments received in advance.

4. Issued Equipment or Materials:
Students are financially responsible for all issued or consumed items, including but not limited to:
• Equipment, books, and supplies
• Background checks
• Uniforms
• TB tests
• CPR and First Aid courses
• Processing or merchant fees

5. Other Fees and Benefits:
For all other fee amounts, refunds will be determined based on the extent to which the student has benefited from the program up to the date of withdrawal or termination.

6. Withdrawal and Termination Process:
• All students must submit a written or verbal notice of withdrawal to the school.
• Refunds will be calculated based on the official withdrawal date and in accordance with this policy.
• Any student who is terminated by the school will have their refund processed automatically following the same refund schedule.
